January 11, 2010Virat Kohli struck an unbeaten century (102* off 95 balls) - his second - as India cruised to a six-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the final and inconsequential league match of the Idea Cup at Mirpur. Gautam Gambhir added 41 while fellow opener Dinesh Karthik scored 34 and captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni 32. With 2 wins in 2 days, India topped the group table with 13 points from 4 games while Sri Lanka lagged along to the second place with 12 points from 4 games. Earlier, Bangladesh had slumped to 95-5 after being put in to bat by India captain Dhoni. Skipper Shakib-Al-Hasan's 85 off 97 balls and Mahmudullah's unbeaten 64 off 80 lifted Bangladesh to 247-6.

November 29, 2009Bangladesh will host a tri-nation one-day international series featuring India and Sri Lanka in January next year in Dhaka, the BCB has announced. Bangladesh take on Sri Lanka in the opening match on January 4 and the two top teams will face off in the final on January 13. Each team will play the other twice, all day-night games.
